Overview

A fun and modern educational curriculum that teaches children robotics and programming in an enjoyable way. The curriculum consists of a set of Lego Spike Prime, which includes mechanical and electronic parts, sensors and motors. You have the ability to build robots from them that you like the shape and function of, such as moving robots, cars and even buildings and different machines.

What will your child learn?

1.. 1. Advanced topics in mechanical design through disassembly and assembly and forming three-dimensional models from LEGO tools in addition to using gears and shafts and building miniature models of giant machines, which develops the creativity of children. 2. Learning about a large group of sensors and how to deal with them and benefit from them to build a robot capable of interacting with the surrounding environment better and more accurately. 3 Basic programming skills and concepts that any programmer needs, so he learns the complete programming rules that exist in all programming languages in a simplified way using blocks using the principle of (drag and drop), which allows him to better control the robots that he designs and builds.

Why This Course

The Spike program is used on the computer or tablet to program your robot and control it. The program is very easy and relies on a simple visual interface that allows you to drag and drop commands and movements onto the robot. You can move it, turn on the motors, read information from the sensors, and make exciting movements.

The best thing about this curriculum is that it develops a creative way of thinking in children and teaches them how to solve programming problems. It teaches the child how to think in an engineering way, gather ideas and implement them practically. And most importantly, you will see the robot you built execute your program and make amazing movements.

So this curriculum is a very exciting educational experience. You will find yourself enjoying yourself while learning science and technology and developing your programming and engineering skills.

The curricula are designed in the form of a series (in each episode, the heroes of the series face a problem) where the training session proceeds as follows:
1 Brainstorming is done between the trainer and the students to reach solutions to the problem.
2. These solutions are compared and the best solution for this situation is settled on.
3.It is applied practically in the form of small groups, and this is because: by designing robots with specific shapes and giving them Programming commands via the computer to achieve the desired goal

4 .. The latest technologies are used to ensure a suitable learning environment for children. The Gamification principle is used, which is the application of game technology elements in a non-game setting. This includes: Each session includes some carefully selected intelligence games (played during the students’ break time) to develop (problem-solving skills), train them to be patient with the outcome and to keep trying to reach the desired solutions.”

Students are also qualified to participate in world championships and obtain advanced positions in them, which opens up travel opportunities for them and facilitates scholarships, as happened with some of Tekatech students
